[edit] Adding a New Product Image

Before adding a new product, you may wish to first add an image of the product. The images that are inserted into your catalog are reusable; that is, once an image has been inserted, it can be used for other products without needing to upload the image again. To add a new product image:

  1. In the menu bar, navigate to Catalog > Image
  2. Click the large Insert icon beneath the menu bar
  3. On the Images page, you will see a tabbed interface for inserting a new image:
    • General: This tab lets you set details about your image. Enter a title for your new image in the Title field, such as "My Picture."
    • Image: Click the Image tab. (No image will be displayed yet, because we have not uploaded one.) Click the Browse button to select the image that you wish to upload.
  4. Click the large Save icon beneath the menu bar
  5. Your image is saved and is ready to be used − you will be returned to the list of all available images

[edit] Viewing or Replacing an Image

To view an image or to overwrite it with a different image, follow these steps:

  1. If you aren't already viewing the list of available images, navigate to Catalog > Image
  2. Locate your image title in the list of images (Use the page number selector at the top to change pages if your image is not shown on the first page)
  3. Click the Update icon
  4. Change to the Image tab to see the existing image
  5. If you wish to replace the image with a new one, click Browse, select a file, and click the Save icon

Note: An image's title is permanent and cannot be updated. If you wish to change an image's title, you should delete the image and reupload it with a different title.

[edit] Deleting an Existing Image

To delete a product image:

  1. Locate the image in the list
  2. Click the large Delete icon
